Back in a Heart Beat

Back in a Heart Beat is an event promoting the importance of defibrillators in combating sudden cardiac arrest.

The event will be held at Federation Square, Melbourne CBD on 12 October 2016.

Bayside Farmer's Market

The popular Bayside Farmer's Market is held 8am - 1pm on the 3rd Saturday of each month. The market is facilitated by the Rotary Clubs of Hampton and Sandringham, is held at Trey Bit Reserve, Jetty Road Sandringham. Our club has been pleased to be able to assist the Rotary Clubs of Hampton & Sandringham at the February, March, May & June 2016 markets.

Bayside Children's Book Fair

Brighton Beach Rotary in association with Firbank Grammar, Scholastic Australia and Bayside Libraries hosted a two day book fair on 28 & 29 November at Firbank Grammar School, Sandringham Campus.

Profits from the Fair went to the Cathy Freeman Foundation and to Rotary projects in Australia and overseas.

Eddie (Ted) Wall Smith Youth Sailing Bursaries

In conjunction with the Sandringham Yacht Club, the Rotary Club of Brighton Beach on 17 June 2016 awarded two youth sailing bursaries valued at $250 each. 


Shine On Awards

The Shine On Awards recognise the outstanding achievement and abilities of persons with disabilities. Our club supports these annual awards. One of our club members is a member of the Shine On Board. At the 2014 awards our club's two nominees received certificates and one a special mention in relation to his special contribution to his local community.

Science Experience Sponsorship

Each year the Rotary Club of Brighton Beach sponsors a number of students to participate in The Science Experience programme.
